Vinfen Corporation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to provide direct support to individuals with Brain Injury or behavioral conditions in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and guidance to residents to promote independence and self-advocacy.
- Develop and implement personalized plans to address behavioral and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
- Document resident progress and provide regular updates to supervisors and families.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with individuals with Brain Injury or behavioral conditions preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
