Sutter County, CA is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services to mentally disordered offenders in the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for mental and substance use disordered offenders
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify client needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling, as well as case management and coordination services
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supervise and train lower-level staff members
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • At least two years of clinical or psychiatric social work experience
  • Valid California license as a Psychologist, LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
