Job Summary:

The Environmental Services Attendant I will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in various locations, including commercial, healthcare, schools, and universities. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain facilities, including offices, patient/resident rooms, classrooms, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors, as well as vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space.
  • Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, including mechanical equipment, and follow manufacturer and client standards for chemical use.
  • Empty trash and garbage containers, replenish supplies, and perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • May drive a golf cart or other vehicles, move furniture, and set up tables and chairs.
  • Notify supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Ability to learn and use established techniques for efficient and compliant completion of duties.
  • Ability to present self in a highly professional manner and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Basic phone and computer skills, including email and texting.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
