The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Blue Ridge, GA to find a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to join their team.
Position OverviewThis role offers a variety of shifts and the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams and ensure accurate imaging for diagnostic interpretation.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment, properly manage equipment, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Transport patients safely and use proper body mechanics.
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and their families.
- Complete necessary paperwork and ensure studies are accurately documented.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or demonstrated expertise.
- ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty, or registry-eligible.
- CPR certification.
- Preferably at least one year of hospital-based experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and function under stress.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed.
- Standing for extended periods and occasionally walking or bending.
