Ultrasound Technologist Job Opportunity

The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Blue Ridge, GA to find a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to join their team.

Position Overview

This role offers a variety of shifts and the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams and ensure accurate imaging for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment, properly manage equipment, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Transport patients safely and use proper body mechanics.
  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and their families.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and ensure studies are accurately documented.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or demonstrated expertise.
  • ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty, or registry-eligible.
  • CPR certification.
  • Preferably at least one year of hospital-based experience.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and function under stress.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed.
  • Standing for extended periods and occasionally walking or bending.
