Core Mission

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by washing all utensils, including pots and pans, and maintaining the overall hygiene of kitchen areas.

Team Structure
  • Reports directly to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Collaborates with Food & Beverage staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to A.S.I. guidelines for washing kitchen utensils.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized pot washing area.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Keep walk-in coolers clean and organized.
  • Assist with food deliveries and manage inventory according to FIFO principles.
  • Support basic food preparation tasks as time permits.
  • Coordinate with kitchen leadership on work priorities and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Experience:
  • Previous Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with computer software, including Microsoft Office, is advantageous.
Education:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
  • Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and perform physical tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols within the kitchen environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the capability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Expectations
  • Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the associate handbook.
  • Demonstrate understanding of safety and security protocols.
  • Availability for occasional travel for training and collaboration.
  • Work primarily during standard business hours, with flexibility for occasional weekends or holidays.
