Position Overview

VENTEK Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated Material Handler I to join our dynamic team at our materials facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our custom packaging processes. The successful candidate will report directly to the Shift Supervisor and will be expected to uphold our standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently unload incoming materials and products.
  • Accurately receive items into the inventory management system.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming shipments to verify they match the purchase orders in terms of size and specifications.
  • Maintain an organized and clean storage area for all materials in accordance with company and quality protocols.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
  • Provide materials to various departments as required.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and warehouse guidelines.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating forklifts.
  • Must successfully complete forklift operation and safety training to obtain certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated reliability and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in varying ambient temperatures.
  • Proficient in using computers and relevant warehouse management software.
  • Capability to lift and bend to handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
