Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Quality Manager in maintaining North American IATF16949 certification for our manufacturing site in Arcade, NY.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to the quality system to improve company-wide quality performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide quality engineering support to operations, ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.
  • Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, and implementing action plans.
Requirements
  • BS Engineering with work experience in an automotive or heavy truck manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS16949/IATF16949 and experience working with these standards in the automotive or truck industry.
  • Applied problem-solving ability, such as demonstrated by structured PDCA, 6 Sigma Green/Black Belt recognition, and hands-on use.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to visit customers and/or suppliers.
