Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join their team in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their vital signs during procedures, and providing post-operative care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by administering medications, conducting pre-operative assessments, and ensuring proper positioning.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Provide post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and monitoring for complications.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and surgical procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
