Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operating Room Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the anesthesiologist or surgeon.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited nursing program.
- At least ten (10) years of experience and training in perioperative nursing.
- BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
