As a Robotics Automation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming production processes through advanced software and hardware solutions.

In this dynamic position, you will be involved in the design, definition, development, and testing of robotic software; provide essential software support for calibration equipment; and work alongside senior engineers to meet the needs of both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze data on customer interactions with robotic systems; prepare comprehensive reports for management.

Document architectural specifications, software design descriptions, verification plans, test cases, operational procedures, and safety protocols.


Utilize appropriate tools to troubleshoot, test, and maintain software and hardware systems of robotic tools; assist in the verification and validation processes.

Participate in the design and development of application software and algorithms for robotic systems.

Take ownership of the development and support of production calibration and testing software.

Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, safety, and operations teams to meet project timelines.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
A B.S. degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science program is required.

Troubleshooting Skills:
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Artificial Intelligence Knowledge:
Familiarity with AI applications in automation is preferred.

Application Development Skills:
Proficient use of software tools to enhance manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:
Experience with automotive CAN, J1939 protocol, and related hardware is advantageous.

Programming Skills:
Familiarity with Python, C, LabVIEW, and PLC Ladder Logic is a plus.

Robotics Experience:
Knowledge of FANUC, ABB, and Universal Robots is beneficial.

Automation Expertise:
Experience with actuators, pneumatics, and control software is a plus.
