Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for developing and managing the database strategy for our systems, ensuring data integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement database design patterns and best practices to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with developers to locate and manage external APIs, create and manage validation techniques, and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform disaster recovery and develop common living documentation deliverables, including Entity Relationship Diagrams and Data Dictionaries.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with several common relational databases, including SQLite and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of common database best practices and design patterns, including First Normal Form (1NF).
  • Ability to create and manage data validation techniques to ensure data integrity.
  • Understanding of layer-oriented design and the presentation layer (SQLAlchemy).
