Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Primary Care team at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and physician assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams, obtain vital signs, and collect medical data.
  • Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
  • Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
  • Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
  • Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up, test results, and physician instructions.
  • Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve practice goals and missions.
  • Meet meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills and data entry experience.
  • BLS certification and vaccine administration skills.
  • One year of experience in a medical setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
  • Successful completion of medical scribing within probationary period.
Working Conditions

This role requires medium to heavy physical effort, with occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds. The working environment is generally pleasant, with minimal occupational risk.

Credentials

BLS and LPN licensure required.
