Medical Director

Community Health Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Physician to join our team in providing comprehensive primary health care to our patients. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary health care, including health promotion and disease prevention activities, to patients in our Adult Medicine clinic.
- Collaborate with a care team to provide specialized care and ensure timely, thorough, and accurate written clinical documentation.
- Make evidence-based clinical decisions and comply with department and organizational quality measures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders both orally and in writing.
- Be willing and able to deliver high-quality patient care in an efficient manner and provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population with complex needs.
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine and possess Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.
- Valid State of Connecticut licensure and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration.
- 3+ years' experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care, with a preference for candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
