Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using Java microservices.
  • Collaborate with architects and team members to design and develop solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop and maintain Java microservices, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Build and automate CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of software.
  • Coordinate releases, performing pre-release checks, deployments, and post-release validation.
  • Ensure product deliverables meet the highest standards of security and quality.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in Java development.
  • Expertise in Java, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Data Flow development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java architectural principles and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based implementations, preferably Azure.
  • Building CI/CD pipelines and expertise in agile/scrum and test-driven development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-start, multi-task, and manage conflicting priorities.
Preferred Skills
  • Infrastructure as Code automation: Terraform.
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery Tools: GitLab, GitHub, JFrog, Maven.
  • Orchestration frameworks: K8s, AKS, EKS.
  • App containerization and packaging: Docker, HELM.
  • Observability tools: ELK, Open-Telemetry, AWS Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor.
  • Cloud Databases: PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, MySQL.
