Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes a multidisciplinary, collaborative methodology to plan, design, develop, and validate a lifecycle-balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Assesses customer and operational requirements to define and synchronize system performance specifications, integrate technical parameters, and ensure compatibility across all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Conducts various analyses to enhance the overall system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs evaluations for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, product assurance, and other quality factors to establish a preferred configuration that guarantees mission success.
  • Develops and oversees the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk management, issue resolution, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessments.
  • Responsible for the architecture, design, and requirements of product support and sustainment initiatives.
  • Acts as the representative for product support during customer interactions.
  • Researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data for company products and system-level concepts within projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Applies systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to the design of system of systems, systems, and new product development.
  • Engages in technical planning and control; maintains and enhances processes and software tools.
  • Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that align with the defined system architecture.
  • Assists in the creation of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications.
  • Develops system requirements, functional requirements, and allocates these to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
  • Coordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that necessitate cross-discipline collaboration.
  • Employs an enthusiastic, hands-on approach to work.
  • Resolves cross-functional technical challenges.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance:

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience working with CATIA.
  • 3+ years of experience on a Commercial Derivative Platform.
  • 3+ years of experience in MSOSA (Magic Systems of Systems Architecture).
  • Familiarity with DOD Risk Management Framework controls.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time, both internationally and domestically.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • (Senior) 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in requirements development.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Confluence.
  • Working knowledge of CMPRO.

Compensation:

Pay is based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range (Mid-Level): $90,950 - $123,050

Summary Pay Range (Senior): $111,350 - $150,650
