As an EHS Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and environmental integrity of our operations. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively convey complex safety concepts across all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of site operations and processes, ensuring that key risks are identified and mitigated through an effective Management System.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the continuous improvement of the site’s HSE initiatives, aligning with global strategies and regulations.
- Support line management in investigating incidents and ensuring that findings are utilized to enhance the overall management system.
- Act as a strategic partner in safeguarding our workforce, environment, and assets, fostering a culture of safety through effective relationships and coaching.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in Health & Safety regulations
- Experience in conducting audits
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Proficiency in developing safety programs
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis
- Understanding of chemical safety and compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Significant experience in HSE within a manufacturing context, with relevant industry certifications being advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience liaising with regulatory bodies.
- Ability to perform under pressure and make informed decisions based on available data.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and strategic planning.
