Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software development leader to join our team at General Motors. As a technical architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java, Quarkus, and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
  • Lead the development of web applications using ReactJS and micro-frontends.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in web application and services development.
  • Experience with multi-tier production software systems using HTTP APIs and backend datastores.
  • Expertise in Java, Quarkus, or Spring Boot, and front-end technologies like ReactJS and micro-frontends.
Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of web software development experience.
