Job Summary: This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with organizations to ensure client retention and satisfaction. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and profitability of the department by achieving specific sales goals for all size plans from external resources and internal associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain technical expertise in the investment industry, including monitoring qualified plan investment products, mutual funds, and new investment strategies.
- Provide clients with ERISA 3(21)/3(38) Fiduciary investment advice.
- Proactively seek and monitor investments that best meet clients' objectives and periodically update and complete investment analysis.
- Conduct fiduciary review meetings with clients to evaluate portfolios, comparative analysis of markets, investment history, performance, and risk, and provide recommendations.
- Answer client and participant-specific questions and perform research as needed.
- Conduct Plan Sponsor Fiduciary Training for committee members.
- Plan communication strategy for clients, direct the preparation of communication materials, review, and present determinations to clients.
- Conduct independent oversight of recordkeepers and providers.
- Focus on business development for the department.
- Provide ongoing support for existing business partners to retain clients and secure additional clients.
