Position Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator for Imaging Services is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects within the interventional radiology unit, collaborating closely with the department director and Clinical Imaging Supervisor. This role includes shared accountability for the delegation and coordination of nursing care for individual patients or groups of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily operations within the interventional radiology department.
- Coordinate nursing care and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Perform independent nursing functions as well as delegated medical tasks as outlined by the Maryland Nurse Practice Act.
- Work under the guidance of the Clinical Imaging Supervisor to enhance departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be graduates of an NLN accredited nursing program with experience in the interventional radiology field. A minimum of one to three years in a supervisory role is preferred, along with a total of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
