Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood banking, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens, ensuring proper identification and handling.
  • Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory operations.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) from a recognized accrediting agency.
  • Minimum one year of laboratory experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
