Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Care Associate to join our team at UCHealth. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients with behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the care team, provide a supportive and safe environment for patients.
  • Continually monitor and document patient coping mechanisms, providing crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of the plan of care and assist in its implementation for assigned clients.
  • Report any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to the care team.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, or satisfactory completion of a UCHealth-administered basic competency test.
  • At least one year of experience in related behavioral health roles is essential.
  • Advanced CPI certification within 30 days of hire and annual recertification are mandatory to meet BHA rules and regulations.
  • BLS certification within three months of hire is also required.
