Job Title: Tax Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our team at Forvis Mazars, LLP. As a Tax Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of tax professionals, providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to C-corporation entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to C-corporation entities with a focus on C-Corp compliance and ASC 740 tax provisions.
  • Develop, build, and manage client relationships.
  • Provide timely and unmatched client service and exceed client expectations.
  • Represent Forvis Mazars, LLP in the marketplace at networking events.
  • Participate in the proposal process for potential new clients.
  • Assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Contribute to Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publication and internal learning and development.
  • Manage, develop, and coach professional tax staff.
  • Review returns prepared by tax staff.
  • Effectively delegate responsibilities to others and monitor the efforts of engagement teams.
  • Proficiently use technology tools in regular assignments and demonstrate a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technology.
  • Successfully research complex tax issues, apply findings to projects, and communicate those findings in writing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7 years or more of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
  • CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, law, or a related field.
  • Experience with OneSource tax software.
