Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Forensic Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. As a Forensic Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing independent, comprehensive care to adults and adolescents presenting to the Emergency Department with a complaint of acute sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients, including medical evaluation, treatment, and documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care
