Job Summary:

Del Monte Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the efficient movement of goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
  • Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed
  • Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices
  • Lubricate trucks, recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace liquefied gas tanks
  • Inspect, prepare, chart, load, secure, seal, and release rail cars, sea vans, piggyback vans, or dry vans

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of forklift operating experience preferred
  • Forklift certification and training will be provided by Del Monte Foods, Inc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
