Job Description

Planet Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Trainer to lead our group fitness program, PE@PF. As a Fitness Trainer, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment that encourages members to reach their fitness goals.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. You will be responsible for designing and leading group fitness classes, providing guidance and support to members, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead group fitness classes, including PE@PF, and provide guidance and support to members.
  • Design and implement fitness programs that meet the needs of our members.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals.
  • Meet or exceed sales and retention targets.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for fitness and health.

Physical Demands

  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
