REPORTS TO: Engineering Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
We are in search of a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, from routine preventive maintenance to comprehensive troubleshooting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair all manufacturing machinery, addressing both mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and educate production staff on basic maintenance practices.
- Maintain daily communication with the operations team.
- Assist manufacturing engineering as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or equivalent from a trade school, complemented by extensive maintenance training. Proficiency in reading and writing English is essential.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in the trade.
- Capability to repair intricate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery components.
- Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Knowledge of building systems, air compressors, and chillers.
- Familiarity with HMIs, PLCs, and Drives.
- Experience with all aspects of metal fabrication.
