Job Summary:

At Aerotek Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing assembly work from drawings, schematics, work orders, specifications, and instructions. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools. You will also be responsible for testing and verifying the proper operations of electrical and mechanical functions of assemblies, sub-assemblies, and machines. Additionally, you will ensure that all equipment and tools are clean, organized, and in good working condition to maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly work from drawings, schematics, work orders, specifications, and instructions.
  • Test and verify the proper operations of electrical and mechanical functions of assemblies, sub-assemblies, and machines.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are clean, organized, and in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with hand tools and manufacturing processes.
  • Preferred assembly experience.
  • Must read, write, and speak English.

Work Environment:

  • 30,000 square foot facility with different departments, including assembly, machine operation, and CNC.
