Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist III to join our team in a key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting human health and ecological risk assessments, developing conceptual site models, and synthesizing site data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, risk assessment, and project management.
Responsibilities- Conduct human health and ecological risk assessment calculations, statistical calculations, and trend analyses.
- Develop and query databases containing environmental analytical chemistry results.
- Prepare technical memos, reports, and presentations to document project findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Develop and implement safety plans, health and safety plans (HASP), and conduct field sampling.
- Travel to project meetings and sites, and conduct meetings with clients and state and federal regulators.
- Manage small projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Data Science, Biology, Environmental Chemistry, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting or science, with a focus on human health and ecological risk assessments.
- Demonstrated experience with project management, data analysis, and scientific writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and data computation and analysis.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for independent transportation.
