Outside Sales Representative - Building Materials

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local contractors, builders, and remodelers to drive sales of our full line of building materials and installed services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Provide product knowledge and training to customers to ensure they are equipped to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the building materials industry
  • Strong knowledge of home building basics and building codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
