  • Possess expertise in Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity Voice Mail.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to VoIP telephony.
  • Manage user licensing and administration within the Call Manager environment.
  • Assist in managing physical connections from Internet Service Providers for various line types including fiber and POTS.
  • Conduct network cable installations and establish network drop points.
  • Collaborate with the networking team to troubleshoot VoIP, wireless, and network-related challenges.
  • Address and resolve support tickets in conjunction with the Help Desk team, ensuring comprehensive solutions.
  • Maintain and provide support for ancillary equipment associated with the organization.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for network switches and fiber connections.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of wireless access points.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP and RTP, along with video teleconferencing technologies.
  • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting VoIP and video conferencing hardware and software.
  • Experience with Polycom Virtual Servers and Endpoints configuration.
  • Physical capability to lift or move up to 25 lbs., as well as perform tasks requiring climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, and routing.
  • Familiarity with security practices and tools relevant to VoIP and video conferencing systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose intricate technical problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Teamwork and collaborative skills.
  • Experience in planning, deploying, and managing VoIP and video conferencing systems in large-scale environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues affecting call quality, connectivity, and overall system performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing VoIP and video conferencing solutions in enterprise settings.
  • Strong grasp of VoIP protocols and video conferencing technologies.
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in managing voice networks, showcasing advanced knowledge and skills in VoIP.
  • Experience in managing and integrating voice services with video conferencing technologies.
