About the Opportunity

This is a unique chance to work with the Hannibal School District #60 as a Substitute Paraprofessional.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, promoting academic and personal growth.
  • Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment.
  • Help with administrative tasks, such as setting up equipment and preparing materials.
  • Supervise students in various settings, including the cafeteria, schoolyard, and during field trips.
  • Attend to students' physical, emotional, and academic needs.
  • Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Criminal History Clearance.
  • Extended background clearance through the Family Care Safety Registry.
