Lead Adjustment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Adjustment Technician to join our team at Principal Service Solutions. As a key member of our Site Project Management Team, you will be responsible for coordinating installation work between our teams, remote management, and customers. This is a long-term, full-time position with full benefits based out of De Soto, KS.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and improve scheduling, procedures, and performance of company equipment at customer facilities.
- Oversee the implementation and training of approved control systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with System Engineers and Project Managers on equipment installation, reporting back on shipping issues, design issues, and other changes.
- Assist in developing installation procedures for company equipment and prepare procedures based on individual skills and experience.
- Oversee contractors on equipment installation to ensure quality of work and provide training as needed.
- Administer day-to-day operations at customer facilities.
- Receive and oversee the installation of parts for company equipment.
- Input data into various computer programs and create reports for System Engineers, Project Managers, and Service/Installation Managers.
- Monitor, guide, and train contractor resources and vendors to ensure efficient operation of company interests.
- Coordinate material movement, electrical and mechanical contractors, and QAQC work based on project needs.
- Create and update installation schedules and tasks.
- Attend customer and MMUSA meetings daily or weekly.
- Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of material handling experience as a field service technician, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with ability to use unique tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with stacker cranes, conveyors, and/or AGVs.
- Ability to read and understand equipment drawings and identify parts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel (up to 90%) to customer sites.
- Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
