HelloFresh is seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and promoting a culture of safety within our distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Initiatives: Collaborate with the Site Safety Manager to design and implement effective safety programs, policies, and procedures to minimize workplace hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential safety risks and hazards within our distribution centers and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide Training and Support: Deliver training sessions to employees on safety procedures, protocols, and best practices to ensure they are equipped to work safely.
  • Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure our distribution centers are in compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a safety-related role, or 3 months of safety internship experience in a distribution center environment, or 2 years of safety experience in a distribution center environment.
  • Certifications: Preferred safety certifications, such as GSP or OHST.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google apps.
