Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Field Service Engineer who possesses a strong problem-solving aptitude and leadership qualities. This permanent position within our Engineering team presents an exciting chance to engage in innovative projects, delivering high-caliber engineering solutions to our clientele. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual, comfortable taking on the role of a subject matter expert, with a solid foundation in electrical engineering, as well as advanced PLC and HMI programming capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Lead Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and guiding a team of field service engineers, ensuring they receive the necessary training and motivation to provide exceptional service.

2. Collaborating closely with clients to ascertain their requirements and deliver optimal engineering solutions.

3. Executing advanced PLC and HMI programming tasks.

4. Conducting root cause analysis on intricate engineering challenges and formulating effective solutions.

5. Providing on-site electrical commissioning services, ensuring all equipment adheres to our stringent quality standards.

6. Diagnosing equipment issues and implementing swift, effective solutions to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

7. Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

8. Keeping abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

2. At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position, focusing on electrical engineering and PLC and HMI programming.

3. Demonstrated experience in conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting equipment.

4. Background in electrical commissioning.

5. Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for managing and inspiring a team.

6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a flair for devising innovative solutions to complex challenges.

7. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying intricate engineering concepts to non-technical audiences.

8. A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to delivering superior quality work.

9. The ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

10. A valid driver's license and readiness to travel as required.
