Detroit Payroll Expert Position

As a Payroll Specialist II at CrossFire Group, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, from on-line edits and corrections to schedule review and garnishment processing.
You will work closely with the Payroll Analyst and Accounting team to ensure accurate allocations to the general ledger and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, proficiency in PeopleSoft and Kronos systems, and excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Skills:- Payroll Management: Proficient in on-line edits and corrections, schedule review, and garnishment processing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with employees, management, and HR personnel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Payroll certification (FPC or CPP) preferred.
- At least two (2) years of related payroll experience required, with previous hospital experience highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and available for overtime as needed.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
