Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting sushi orders in a delightful and standardized manner.
• They will work closely with front and back of house personnel to provide a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare menu items for your workstation and assist colleagues as needed.
2. Meet all guest needs during meal service to achieve a positive dining experience.
3. Maintain high standards of appearance and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
4. Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, bar staff, and dining room staff to ensure smooth operations.
5. Solve problems promptly and handle guest concerns professionally.

Requirements

• You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of relevant work experience or training.
• Experience in kitchen operations, filleting fish, or sushi preparation is essential.
• You must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively, as well as understand customer service principles.

Working Conditions

• This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, exposed to sharp knives and other hazards.
• Occasional exposure to cigarette smoke, wet conditions, and moderate noise levels may occur.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
