Sushi Artisan

We are seeking a highly skilled Sushi Artisan to join our team at Kura Sushi Smith Haven Mall. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present sushi dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Cut, slice, and prepare fish and other ingredients according to Kura's strict food safety standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and nutritional information.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
