Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular rounds in Behavioral Health Units, Emergency Departments, and other assigned areas to promote a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Engage with patients and staff to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement safety protocols.
  • Document incidents and safety concerns in accordance with hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Class 'D' Security Officer License from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (preferred).
  • Two years of customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
