The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Med Surg RN, you will be working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and achieve favorable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations, in accordance with established standards of practice and organizational policies.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
* Demonstrate expertise in the nursing process, using critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and prioritize care.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record, ensuring that patient information is up-to-date and accessible to the care team.
Requirements:
* Associate's degree or diploma from an accredited Nursing program required.
* Valid and active RN licensure from the appropriate state.
* AHA BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, NRP certification may be required depending on the area.
Work Environment:
* Shift: Variable
* On Call: False
* Weekends: Rotating
* Travel Required: No Travel
