Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Pharmacy Technician Educator to join our team at Nevada Career Institute. As a Pharmacy Technician Educator, you will be responsible for teaching and implementing the curriculum for our Pharmacy Technician program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and implement the total curriculum for the Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Plan and assign student activities in the classroom and clinical settings.
  • Identify individual and collective learning needs of assigned students and maintain records of student progress and performance.
  • Prepare, administer, and grade written and practical examinations.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans through lecture, demonstration, discussion, etc.
  • Discuss student concerns and/or problems directly or indirectly related to the learning experience.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the Program Director or her designee.
  • Assist students in developing an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the healthcare profession.
  • Participate in the selection and preparation of instructional materials.
  • Provide a professional role model for students.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in the field.
  • PT Certification License.
  • High School Diploma.
