Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Downstream Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for providing installation support, maintenance, and training of downstream equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Support the installation and maintenance of downstream equipment, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
- Training and Troubleshooting: Train and provide troubleshooting assistance to maintenance and operators on new equipment as needed, ensuring plant personnel can independently maintain newly installed production lines.
- Continuous Improvement: Work on continuous improvement projects to help improve performance and meet plant KPI goals.
- Process Development: Develop setup processes to ensure repeatable results, including documentation and step-by-step instructions.
- Education: 2-year technical degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Packaging.
- Experience: 3 years of working experience in a similar field.
- Skills: Experience with various packaging equipment, including robot stations, palletizers, automated sorting systems, bottle label applicators, carton erectors, and vision systems.
- Project Management: Basic project management skills.
- Interpersonal and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Training and Development: Proven track record of training hourly employees.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with computer applications, including AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
