OVERVIEW:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Branch Manager oversees the operational performance, financial management, and customer service of the branch. This role involves supervising branch personnel and collaborating with the Sales Team to ensure complete customer satisfaction and the attainment of financial objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Overseeing the management of rental equipment inventory, accounting, deliveries, services, and pickups.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Upholding professional and ethical standards in all business relationships, adhering to established company policies.
  • Acting as a liaison between the branch and corporate departments, ensuring compliance with regulations such as EEO, FLSA, and OSHA.
  • Managing branch financials, including costs, revenues, P&L, and budget projections to meet financial targets.
  • Handling the recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions of branch staff.
  • Monitoring market competition and developing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Creating plans for the efficient utilization of resources, including materials, personnel, and equipment.
  • Preparing and presenting reports and forecasts of branch performance to company management, along with budget and marketing strategy recommendations.
  • Executing additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A High School diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial/industrial/oilfield equipment rental sector, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Availability to work a schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM, with additional hours as needed based on customer requirements.
  • A valid Driver's License and the ability to travel as necessary.
  • Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in leading teams to successfully complete departmental projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with RentalMan is advantageous.
