Position Overview:
The Café Sales Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective preparation of food while adhering to safety protocols and health regulations. This position involves preparing a variety of food items, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Compensation:
$15 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare various food items, including sandwiches, pizzas, and baked goods as per the menu.
- Ensure deli coolers are stocked with fresh ingredients and produce for food preparation.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere in food service areas, including coffee and bakery sections.
- Exhibit friendliness and approachability while engaging with customers and taking orders.
- Deliver high-quality food promptly and courteously to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to cooking standards and methods established by the Deli Manager.
- Understand and follow work schedules, manage stock shipments, and maintain organization in the deli and food areas.
- Rotate stock and assist in maintaining the department according to company and food safety standards.
- Meet performance expectations and complete all assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail setting.
- Basic understanding of food safety standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to foster a customer-centric culture.
- Physical capability to respond to emergency situations promptly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
