Job Overview

This role involves delivering raw materials to job sites, inspecting and maintaining trucks, and reporting any shortages or issues to our supervisors. As a Material Delivery Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers receive their materials on time and in good condition.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Operate safely and efficiently on the road">
  • Participate in a positive work environment and maintain good housekeeping in the yard and warehouse">
  • Check orders for accuracy and obtain approval from supervisors before loading materials">
  • Deliver and unload materials to customer satisfaction and follow guidelines from supervisors">
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and record all returned merchandise">
  • Provide excellent customer service and relay messages sent by customers while on the job">
  • Assist supervisors, other employees, and departments as assigned">
  • Comply with all company policies and guidelines, including safety protocols and training requirements">

Requirements

  • ">
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required">
  • 1-3 years of experience driving trucks and lumber dumping experience preferred">
  • Able to do basic math, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms">
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and supervisors using verbal and written skills">
  • Maintain current operator's license and meet company driver qualification requirements">
  • Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g., smartphone, GPS, and business applications)">
  • Valid Driver's License in the state required">
