Position Overview:

The Lead Installer is responsible for the effective and efficient installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role involves direct communication with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure complete satisfaction. The Lead Installer also plays a crucial role in training junior installers and assisting management with audits and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC systems and accessories under the guidance of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.
  • Ensure installations meet company standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Fabricate and install ductwork as required.
  • Conduct system start-ups for heating and cooling equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Promote company products and services during customer interactions.
  • Manage the delivery and removal of necessary equipment for installations.
  • Maintain company property, tools, and vehicles in excellent condition.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Keep installation vehicles organized and clean.
  • Assist in site supervision and quality audits to ensure high standards.
  • Train new installers in company protocols and technical skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Report unsafe conditions or acts to management immediately.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and report any incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with relevant HVAC training and certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation.
  • Valid licensing and certifications as required by local regulations.
  • Proficient in HVAC systems, ductwork installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.
