Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified and passionate English Language Arts teacher to join our team at Camden Prep. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts to high school students and contributing to the development of a rigorous and engaging curriculum.
You will work closely with colleagues to design and implement instructional strategies that promote student learning and achievement.
Responsibilities- Teach English Language Arts to high school students, including reading, writing, and discussion skills
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Teacher certification is not a prerequisite for consideration, but you must meet NJ state certification eligibility requirements
- Experience working with high school students and developing curriculum and instructional strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
