Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LiDAR Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will possess good verbal communication skills, a positive outlook, and a proven track record in a project-based, schedule-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare existing conditions surveys using TopoDOT and MicroStation software.
  • Extract 3D features from mobile LiDAR-generated point clouds and perform quality control checks.
  • Assist with mobile LiDAR data collection missions, including operating the mobile LiDAR system, maintaining the vehicle and scanning equipment, and conducting system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Perform LiDAR point cloud registration and assist with the acquisition of other remote sensing platforms.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience using scanning or mapping software.
  • A.S. Degree or certificate in a related course of study or the equivalent work experience.
  • TopoDOT and MicroStation experience is strongly preferred.
  • ArcGIS, Autodesk Civil 3D, Leica Cyclone, or other 3D modeling software experience is favorable.
