About the Role:The BCBA will be responsible for providing behavioral assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental illness. This is a high-intensity day program that requires the ability to work with individuals who have complex support needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Provide training to staff on program and consumer-specific topics.
- Analyze behavior data and prepare quarterly reports for IDT meetings.
- Attend local human rights and behavior management committees to present quarterly reports.
- Complete all behavioral and clinical documentation as required by CR, licensure, and other regulatory agencies.
- Masters degree in a related human services field.
- Two years of experience in intellectual disability, behavior management, and/or therapeutic consultation.
- Knowledge of functional assessments and experience in developing behavior plans.
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst, or eligible for subsequent certification, or Endorsed Positive Behavioral Supports Facilitator (Virginia).
