Job Summary:

The Operating Room Technician will be responsible for preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment. This is a travel position, and you will have the opportunity to work in various locations across the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room, including disposing of biohazardous waste and restocking supplies.
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the smooth operation of procedures.
Requirements:
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Travel experience preferred, but not required
