About the Role

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during invasive procedures, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and care.
  • Support the mission, vision, and philosophy of Catholic Health Initiatives, upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current Unlicensed Assistive Persons (UAP) Registration by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
  • Current Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Surgical Technologist.
  • Strong oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification for Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
